The only footwear stock I own

Just look around, and you'll know why

CROX. I like the stock. I own the stock. Why?

I see people wearing it everywhere. In buses. In trains. In schools. In offices. In theatres. In libraries. On boardwalks. In cafes. I’ve seen restaurant staff and nurses wear them. They are everywhere.

So much so that schools in America are having to ban them. You know a Brand has become truly mainstream when it shows up in school notice boards’ banned list.

Crocs are comfortable. Your feet can breathe. They are easy to slip in and out of. Easy to clean and maintain. Highly durable.

And just like the person wearing them, every Croc is unique (Yeah, I know we are all Apes. But we love to believe we are unique and God’s gift to mankind. And would pay a lot to prove this. So, do you now see the point, dear regard?).

Jibbitz charms turn every Croc into the ultimate form of self expression. A teenager’s dream. A rebel’s last stand. A misfit’s proof of existence.

Many have called them fad and ugly (you see what I did there?). But they continue to grow. And their fans swear by them.

Most importantly, Crocs brand teams have cracked the code for marketing in the 21st century: force-multiplying collaborations and parnerships.

Crocs is no longer a shoe. It’s a meme that keeps spreading.

And now, they are copying this playbook to fix the one big mistake their management made: HeyDude. The main reason their stock remains undervalued. They could’ve just grown Crocs but for some good reason, they decided to “derisk” and build another brand. An Ape can’t understand or appreciate what a bunch of MBA’s does. So, why bother arguing if it was the right move? “Father, forgive them for they probably knew what they were doing.”

Heydude sales declines seem to have been arrested, and Crocs is looking set to grow. Overall, EPS likely to grow at 15%+ CAGR.

The stock trades at a PE < 7.

The business has world-class operating margins.

They just announced a massive share buyback program.

TL;DR: what’s not to like?!

No hidden message here, friend 😀

Well, why would you listen to a random ape on internet? And what if this Ape is wrong?!

The choice is yours, friend. The choice is always yours.

Anonymously Yours,
S4Y
